Collateral & Settlement

Rox Clear

Atomic on-chain delivery-versus-payment settlement with institutional collateral management: cross-chain clearing, margin management, and T+0 finality with no leg risk.

Settlement where nobody has to trust anybody

Rox Clear settles trades through atomic DVP, delivery versus payment: the asset and the cash move in one indivisible step, so either both sides complete or neither does. That removes leg risk, the danger of delivering and then waiting, exposed, for the other side to pay.

Settlement is final at T+0, the same day the trade happens, which frees collateral, shrinks counterparty exposure, and lets the books reconcile themselves. Collateral and margin management keep pledged cover sufficient as markets move, and cross-chain clearing applies the same discipline to assets on different networks.

In traditional markets, the days between trade and settlement are where capital sits idle and counterparty risk quietly accumulates. Rox Clear closes that window because the settlement record and the ownership record are the same ledger entry: once the trade settles, there is no second system left to reconcile.

How Rox Clear flows

01

Receive the obligation

A completed trade arrives as an obligation between two parties.

02

Verify both legs

Both the asset and the funds are verified before anything moves.

03

Settle atomically at T+0

Asset and payment exchange in one indivisible, final on-chain step.

04

Update collateral and margin

Collateral and margin refresh immediately so risk stays current.

THE FRICTION IT REMOVES

The problems it solves

Leg risk on every trade

01

Whenever asset and payment move separately, one party is exposed while it waits for the other. Atomic DVP makes half-settled trades structurally impossible: both legs move together or not at all.

Capital trapped in the settlement gap

02

Multi-day settlement cycles lock up cash and securities that could be working elsewhere. T+0 finality releases capital the same day the trade executes.

Collateral scattered and hard to see

03

Institutions over-post collateral because they cannot see and mobilise it in one place. Unified collateral and margin management shows what is pledged, where, and against what, in real time.

Every network settles differently

04

Assets spread across blockchains normally mean fragmented, inconsistent settlement arrangements. Cross-chain clearing applies one settlement discipline across networks.

How Rox Clear works

01

Receive the obligation

A completed trade, from Rox Execute or an external counterparty, arrives as a settlement obligation: this asset against that payment, between these parties.

02

Verify both legs

The system confirms the seller's asset and the buyer's funds are actually present and available in custody before anything moves. No promises, only verified positions.

03

Settle atomically at T+0

Asset and payment exchange in one indivisible on-chain step, and if any condition fails, nothing moves and both parties keep what they had. Ownership updates on the ledger the same day, and that record is final: no pending window, nothing to unwind.

04

Update collateral and margin

Positions, pledged collateral, and margin requirements refresh immediately after settlement, so risk teams always work from the current picture.

Beyond the point solutions

Settlement networks coordinate between silos they do not control. Rox Clear settles atomically on the same sovereign chain your custody and execution already run on, which is how T+0 with no leg risk becomes an architecture, not a promise.

They stop here. Rox continues.
