One platform for knowing exactly who you are dealing with

Rox Verify is an enterprise identity verification and anti-money-laundering platform. It takes a person or company through document checks, biometric liveness, AML screening and risk assessment, and produces a single auditable decision, with individual KYC, business KYB, fraud intelligence and compliance case management in one system instead of a patchwork of point solutions.

Built for organisations with a regulatory obligation to know their customers, it keeps each client in its own isolated tenant and records every reviewer action in an immutable audit trail, so each verification leaves a defensible, examination-ready record of who was checked, what was found, who decided, and why.

Integration is a choice, not a constraint. Teams can run the platform entirely from a secure web portal, embed a hosted applicant flow with no front-end build, or drive it end to end through a signed REST API. All three modes share the same engine, the same decisions and the same audit trail.

How Rox Verify flows

01

Start a verification

Sessions start from the portal, the API, or a hosted link.

02

Verify and screen automatically

Documents, liveness, face match, and AML screening run automatically.

03

Reach a decision, with humans on the edge cases

Cases resolve automatically, with human reviewers only on edge cases.

04

Report and retain

Results arrive by portal, API, and webhook, fully audit-logged.

THE FRICTION IT REMOVES

The problems it solves

Onboarding under regulation

01

Regulated firms are forced to stitch together separate tools for documents, biometrics and screening. Rox Verify verifies identities and businesses in a single flow that already maps to customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence obligations.

Continuous AML exposure

02

Financial-crime risk does not end at onboarding. The platform screens customers against sanctions, watchlists, PEP and adverse-media data, and where enabled keeps re-screening them against newly added designations, with the next review date visible on every case.

Fraud and duplicate identities

03

Tampered documents, presentation attacks, and the same face, document or device reused across sessions are detected automatically, so fraudulent and duplicate applications surface before an account is opened.

Audit and examination readiness

04

When a regulator asks, firms need evidence, not recollection. Every verification produces a tamper-evident record of who was checked, what was found, who decided, and why.

UNDER THE HOOD

Inside Rox Verify

A closer look at what each part of Rox Verify does for you.

Document verification

Government-issued documents are authenticated, read and checked for tampering across 14,000+ templates in 220+ countries and territories.

  • Passports, national identity cards, driving licences and residence permits
  • Tamper and forgery detection against each document's security characteristics
  • Automated data extraction with machine-readable-zone, expiry and internal-consistency checks on every submission

Biometric liveness and face match

Certified passive liveness plus face matching proves a live person owns the document, defending onboarding against photos, replays, masks and synthetic media.

  • Passive liveness with no user actions required, independently certified for presentation-attack detection
  • 1:1 face match between the live selfie and the document portrait, with a similarity score on the report
  • Cross-session face matching to flag the same individual verifying repeatedly

AML screening and monitoring

Every individual and company can be screened against a continuously updated body of 10,000+ AML datasets, with each match fully attributed to its sources.

  • Global and regional sanctions and enforcement watchlists, plus politically exposed persons with relatives and close associates
  • Adverse media, financial crime, terrorism financing and regulatory enforcement categories
  • Per-match detail: name, match strength, risk classification and current status

Business verification (KYB)

Business verification establishes that a company exists, who owns and controls it, and whether the company or its key people present financial-crime risk.

  • Company registry cross-checks across 60+ jurisdictions
  • Beneficial owners, directors, officers and shareholders identified with role and ownership, and full individual KYC on every key person
  • Company-level AML screening with its own score and match list

Decisioning and case management

Signals become defensible decisions through a configurable workflow, human review controls and a permanent record of every action.

  • Per-check outcomes and typed risk labels that explain what triggered attention
  • Four-eyes manual review with notes and attachments, plus tenant blocklists with reasons retained on the case
  • Per-check pricing, so firms run only the checks their policy requires

Security, integration and audit

Identity documents and biometrics are among the most sensitive data a firm holds, so protection is built into the data model, access model and integration surface.

  • Encryption at rest and in transit, with biometric media held in a private store, never served from the public web
  • Role-based access control, multi-factor authentication and strict per-tenant isolation
  • Signed REST API and verified webhooks, with scoped, tenant-bound credentials

How Rox Verify works

01

Start a verification

A session is created from the compliance portal, through the API, or by sending the applicant a hosted capture link, for an individual (KYC) or a company (KYB). The applicant submits their identity document or company details.

02

Verify and screen automatically

The document is authenticated against its expected template, its data is extracted and cross-checked, passive liveness confirms a live person, and the face is matched to the document portrait. The subject is then screened against sanctions, PEP, adverse-media and watchlist data alongside device and network signals.

03

Reach a decision, with humans on the edge cases

Every check returns its own result, concerns surface as clearly typed risk labels, and the case resolves to approved, declined, or routed for human review, under a configurable workflow so each firm applies only what its risk policy requires. Only cases that need a human reach a reviewer, who can approve, decline, request resubmission or blocklist under a documented four-eyes workflow, with notes and attachments retained on the case.

04

Report and retain

The outcome is delivered through the portal, the API response and webhooks, along with a complete downloadable report. Every step is written to the immutable audit log for examination and internal audit.

Beyond the point solutions

Identity vendors verify a customer, then disappear from the transaction. Rox Verify feeds the same compliance decisioning into custody policies, banking onboarding, and payment monitoring across the stack.

They stop here. Rox continues.
